Thanks for your reply but I'm a little confused by that? The room stat is a battery powered digistat with the instructions shown in my 1st post. Where exactly do I wire the ON , OFF & Common wires into the wiring centre? thanks again :)

    common problem?

I'm replacing my useless and unreliable RF room stat with a wired one. I know which 2 terminals are call & satisfied in the wiring center but do I simply connect the COMMON to the live terminal in the wiring center? The "digistat" simply says in the manual 1 - COMMON 2 - ON 3 - OFF...

Problem with RF room stat (salus rt300rf)

Looking at the SALUS manual, I wired it according to the 230V switching method and NOT the one below it, the volt free method! Should I wire it using the volt free method?

Problem with RF room stat (salus rt300rf)

Let me add some more info. As above, I've given the receiver power from terminals 1 & 2. Terminal 3 & 4 were linked together, I'm assuming this was to override the fact that there was no room stat? I have taken out the loop and put the ON & OFF wiress from receiver to these 2 terminals...
