I'm replacing my useless and unreliable RF room stat with a wired one. I know which 2 terminals are call & satisfied in the wiring center but do I simply connect the COMMON to the live terminal in the wiring center?

The "digistat" simply says in the manual

1 - COMMON

2 - ON

3 - OFF

Thanks for any help.

J

This is the wiring center:

In the wiring centre

2 is a neutral
4 is the switched live from the prog going to the common on the room stat
5 is the switched live from the room stat to the mid pos valve.

R/S W/C
2 > 4
3 > 5

depending on the room stat you may also need to link up the neutral wire

Thanks for your reply but I'm a little confused by that?

The room stat is a battery powered digistat with the instructions shown in my 1st post. Where exactly do I wire the ON , OFF & Common wires into the wiring centre?

thanks again :)

I've connected 2 > 4 & 3 > 5 as you said but where do I connect the COMMON to the W/C? The room stat isn't operating the heating with just these two wires connected.

thanks

Sorry I got the terminals wrong as I was doing it from memory!!

You dont need the neutral wire by the looks of it!!

Digistat > Wiring Centre

1 > 4

2 > 5
