Can recommend the Salus RT500RF. Its a 240 volt supply with a volt free switching option. Around £40-60 +vat and a doddle to fit, you only have to remove the 240 volt link on the receiver for it to work volt free. Used loads they are brill and wireless too.

Those energysavers were one of the first available condensing boilers and they are notorious for causing sludge in systems. can i take a guess that your system water is bright orange?. suggest you replace it asap or you will be having one problem after another.

was the combi an upgrade from a conventional open vented system? Check for leaks and get installer back to rectify.

its probably poor design. expensive sanitary ware with poor fittings, pretty normal considering you get screwed by just about everybody else. Anyway, rant over, go to plumbers merchant and as apb says buy a "Bottom entry torbek quiet fill valve", wont be more than around £17. Job done

Whats the pressure and temp like on the other taps in the bathroon? If its ok then u need to clean the carp out of the showers filters at the inlet connections. You worcs 24i combi has no user adjustable water temp stat. it pumps it out as it is at around 9 ltrs a minute.

As micky correctly says its highly likely to be a prob with the pressure vessel. ive had to change numerous on the old 120 response. regarding the sudden burst from the PRV, yes that too is a possibility which would according to your description would happen if you had a faulty pressure vessel...

unless there is a fault with thr pressure relief valve, you have a leak on your system. As u say its only 6 months old you must get your RGI back to investigate as its still under warranty, including his/her workmanship. could you give some more accurate details of date of installation, did u...

and it sounds like the filling tap is not fully closed off aswell
