unless there is a fault with thr pressure relief valve, you have a leak on your system. As u say its only 6 months old you must get your RGI back to investigate as its still under warranty, including his/her workmanship.
could you give some more accurate details of date of installation, did u receive a corgi certificate in the post after installation.etc. please include as much detail as you can.

It was installed in at the end April of this year. We have received no certification through the post for any of it. The engineer was sent in by our landlord who also still hasn't connected the boiler to a spur socket (it's plugged directly into a standard socket) also we still have the huge hole in the wall where he took out the original flue and put in a new one.

The fault on the boiler is saying A 03 which we think is something to do with poor circulation around the system. Our gas meter is also making a funny noise. We have contacted our landlord today as all repairs have to go through him but as yet (3 hrs later) we are still waiting for him to call us back.

The bar pressure gauge drops every day or so, we have to turn on the taps below the boiler to introduce more water into the system, then bleed all the radiators before it will work again.

i'd suggest you inform him that he has the system fully set up, made safe flue sealed certification given to you. until such point you don pay the rent either. nd get down to the citizens advice about this.
