all was going well, managed to get the rad off without any major catastrophes. However, when cutting the pipe to make way for the new rad (slightly different size) things got a little hairy. Upon cutting the bottom section of pipe the entire contents of what must of been the downstairs system...

    Replacement for Randall 3060 ...

To conclude ... Heating now sorted, i realised with my set-up (Gravity Water - Pump CH) requires both water and heating active to invoke heating ... i knew this already, just didn't realise the ST9400C required me to manually select both options ... DOH !!!

    Replacement for Randall 3060 ...

ok, now i'm stuck, still no Central Heating !! I've taken like for like connection from Randall 3060 to HW ST9400C according to previous posts, keeping the yellow and brown (stat off and pump live) connection isolated. The Hot water kicks the boiler into action, the Central Heating doesn't...

    Replacement for Randall 3060 ...

maybe the wrong terminology :? I've now found the yellow and brown wires connected to terminal 5 had no internal connection to the 3060 - terminal 3 & 5 are blank (just taken the back off the device) ... the yellow as far as i can determine is feeding from the Thermostat, and the brown...

Guys Having visited the store i opted for the ST9400C, which i've now fitted but can't get the heating to kick-in - any idea's, as the hot water's working fine? There's a rogue Neutral previously in terminal 1 (see http://randall.danfoss.com/PCMPDF/3020P%203060.pdf ) which i've now coupled...
