Kitchen ceiling bar lighting, is it safe with IP20 rating.

I’m sprucing up my kitchen and have purchased an LED bar ceiling light (Defurhome). I’ve installed them as you can see in the photo, however i’ve noted this light only has an ip rating of 20. The lights are LED GU10. The kitchen occasionally suffers from steam from the hob but the lights are...

How can I initiate an alarm test a Texecom Premier Elite 64-W

Is there a way of doing a full alarm test without the bell box sounding. The walk test has been done successfully but ideally i would like to do this on full armed mode to make sure it's working how it should without ****ing the neighbors off.

    Part Arm Issues

The PIR is in the hallway and set for a timed exit. Entry/exit1, 60 seconds with a change in tone around 15 seconds before arming its self. Its works well allowing time to exit, and entry i think is set to 45 seconds.

    Part Arm Issues

I set the utility room to part 2 omit. Set the garage to part arm and the alarm is still being triggered when i walk by the hall pir which is the entry exit.

    Part Arm Issues

I’ve restored the backup i took before installing the utility PIR and the settings are identical to the attached photos. So i can either revert back to the installation by restoring the panel prior to installing the new PIR or figure out whats gone wrong.

Which contact to use for a velux window?

Its a Texecom premier elite 64-w. I have mostly wirless devices on the panel so i would be going for wireless again. As for risk, the velux is reachable via a flat roof and accessible. A PIR would not be affected by direct sunlight as the velux is on a tilt and north facing.

Which contact to use for a velux window?

I’m in the process of beefing up the security on my house. I have a texecom premier elite w with multiple wireless devices. We have a velux window on a sloping roof which in my option is a security risk. Do i attach a wireless window contact, or a vibration contact or neither and just have a...

All areas are assigned for example Hall and Garage. I’ve set a timed exit and tested which now works fine so all sorted, thank you.
