no i havnt wot it is the kitchen fitter fitted it and plugged it in on a 13amp socket iread the installation ins and saw the requirements ,what has caused concern is when the fan heater is switched on the thermostat dosent cut out would that be because its not through a double pole switch

help please just bought a plinth heater for kitchen and ins say must be connected through double pole swich ,firstly cant i just connect to a 13amp plug and plug in and if i did wot would happen :o

yes u can wire in 1mm into plug then replace fuse in plug with 3amp

its t and earth running to external garage in conduit under drive running into garage cu rcd protected hope this helps its fed from main board in house it was a 30 amp rewirable but when hot tub was installed they up rated to 40 never had any tripping the cable runs approx 7 mtrs

its to my garage its six mill cable feeding 4 sockets 2 lights on a 40 amp mcb in the house also 16 amp hot tub

will 6mm take a load of 40amps :)

i want to replace a kitchen light with one that requires an earth but there is no earth to the light ,ive noticed there is an earth wire connected to the pipe work in the bathroom thats goes back to the cu is it possible to use that has my earth :?

its t&e from the consumer unit to the joint box but they have used two core to wire the lights am i ok running 1.5mm earth cable from the joint box to the light

i have alight fitting what requires an earth the the 1mm coming out of the ceiling hasnt a earth but in the lighting joint box in the loft their are earths can i run a 1.5mm earth wire from that joint to my light
