    You also want to check the concrete floor with a straight edge for being flat and if that is not the case it should be levelled off .

    djsp, if you have gone to the effort of sanding your floor boards and you want to slap paint on, not for me, what I would do is use one of the coloured wood stains that are available and then use a clear matt finish, thats is IMHO

    If laying any type of wood flooring on concrete I always take a moisture check before I take on the job, it saves problems from the customer in the fucture.
