    Yes if i do not switch it off it will go to lockout. No it will not be ok for the rest of the day, the next time it goes off I have to do the same process again. I dont know what kind of burner it has, is there anyway I can tell?

    Burnerman thanks for the reply, just to clarify. When the bolier first starts up it never lights, in the kitchen with the boiler is the on/off switch for just the boiler not the heating. If i switch this switch a couple of time the boiler then lights. Not sure I should be taking covers off...

    Problem with leaking fordham cistern.

    I have looked in the cistern and cannot see any bolts. Forgive my ignorance but if they do not go all the way through how can water be coming down them? There is no sign of water anywhere else. Also what is a c\c plate?

    I have a leak with the bolts with wingnuts on that attach the cistern with the pan. My first problem is the bolt and wingnut are rusted. I have tried WD40 but it hasnt had any effect. Any suggestions? My second problem is I can feel the bolt move a little but I do not want to put much pressure...

    Radiator hot at bottom cold at top

    No to the Inhibitor. The system had been drained for two years prior to us moving in, as I say this radiator has been replaced as it was leaking. The valves (is that the correct term) were not replaced only the radiator itself. The system is approximately six years old.

    Yes I bled the radiators with the system off. I can hear water running through it now (heating is on :wink: ) but the top is still cold. :?:

    As the subject really. Its only occuring in one radiator, I have bled them all including this one. I can take the bleed screw completely out of this radiator and no air or water comes out. :? Any idea whats going on? :?:
