there was no gas full stop getting to the pilot nor the burner to begin with, that was the original problem, the burner cutting out was only a problem identified once we got it going.

because the previous one was not working and needed replacing, once it was swapped it began to work again but now there is the problem of the burner cutting out after min or two. customer does not want to upgrade system but would rather raplace any parts required to get this fossil up and running.

just replaced gas valve on a 551 burmuda, burner and heat ex have been cleaned thoroughly. Pilot lights fine and burner fires up only to cut out after couple of mins (pilot stays lit). Any ideas? Thanks

Okay been looking at a fully pumped system today, pump on hot water circuit is dead and it had the following info: Brook Crompton Parkinson Motors STUART MRC232TTBXA214/R anyone have any idea where to locate another or its parts.. thanks.

haha is newcastle really considered that bad :) . the screw in question was advertised on a website based in Gloucester, however like i said i got 100 for £2 or somthing from screw.. i just dont see how the website could justify such a stupid price. :shock:

i have recently been changing some trevi showers and was in need of some parts, i went on a website that i shall not name and found the self tapping screw required to attatch the temperature control knob. As it turned out the cost of this one little screw came to £1.21.... THEN £7.50 p&p and...

lol this place has an assortment of showers with an assortment of slider bars.. im sure ive seen a model with a red bit on the temp knob at the property. Just on the left hand knob on this model, beneath the casing there is that big grey fitting to screw on and that does not appear in the trevi...

just some of the parts on there now dont look like the parts they sell to you on the spares sites :shock:
