    Hi, I changed an old 3 way light switch in the hall way. It controls 2 lights in the hallway and 1 on the landing. The landing light now will not turn off. If I disconnect from the 3 way switch and just use one of the 2 single switches on the landing it works fine. Sorry for the bad...

    Hi, I have moved into a new property which is fitted with a Scantronic 9800+ alarm. All I have is the manual and no codes etc. The alarm has power and the sensors seem to be working, but I have no idea what the code is. Is there a way that I can reset it and to find out the pin code...

    right, so i need one of those things you put a picutre of and place that at the top of the cylinder, yes? then hopefully it will only pull in water and this will push all the air out of the system?

    kevplumb.... where is it then? and what is the point of one of these items that goes in the top of the cylinder? and seco services said to run the pump off the surrey flange?? what is that compared to the top of the cylinder??

    onetap. not sure, on capacity, i would say over 100 litres. cold should fill up as and when needed. cylinder is probably 4 foot below the tank. the hotwater has something strapped to the side which shows 45 c no flange at the top of the storage cylinder.

    karl... i believe the top of the cylinder. the ensuite is new but the bathroom has been refurbed and a pump fitted 2 years ago.

    and yes one pump is connected to the cylinder and the other is connected to the water pipes that go to my main bathroom shower.

    the hot water tank is 114 litres. it used to work ok and even with a full tank it will happen very quickly.

    I am hoping someone here can help me! I seem to have air in my hot water system somewhere. It really causes a problem when using one of our power showers. The water dies and the motors start screaming as it struggles to get hot water. We have a traditional vented system with a header tank...
