    What Boiler Should I Get.....

And how do you think the regulation change will effect anything, most people including a lot of installers ignore Benchmark now, so just saying that the CO ppm must be noted in the Benchmark will not change anything, until manufacturers start invalidating boiler warranties if the boiler has not...

    Gas Safe required?

Just going by the first post, they said that they can fit a new supply, nothing mentioned about the cooker, they do need to be Gas Safe registered to do the pipework, but only need CCN1 for for the pipe. Just saying, don't want to get into a long, drawn out boring debate about it though :)

    Confusing problems with heating system

The powerflushing is probably clearing the muck at that time, but by just sticking raw water in and a cocktail of chemicals is obviously causing more corrosion to occur again, you need to have the system water checked properly, pH, conductivity, salts etc, this will then identify what the...

    Gas Safe required?

    Power flushing kit

Self education, I look to Europe for the answers, I have test equipment that lets me test pH, TDS, Salts and conductivity all from one unit, installers need to arm themselves with such equipment, if they want to avoid warranty refusals based on water quality

Boiler "Immediately Dangerous" on flue external CO

    Power flushing kit

The industry is spoon fed drivel by the chemical companies, it is not to improve heating systems, its driven by profit, powerflushing, inhibitors, its all nonsense, why inhibit a sealed heating system, oxygen has to be present for corrosion to occur, installers need to ensure de-gassing is done...

    Fitting system filter before cleaning/flushing

It does amuse me how lots of the public and installers think filters are a problem solver, they are not, they merely mask the problem, if you have corrosion in your system, solve the problem, don't mask it, a well installed system will not suffer from corrosion, I have been to many open vented...

    Which Combi Boiler??

Dan_Robinson has answered your original question and gave you a list of his preferred combi boilers, but this list would change with each installer who answers, there is no definitive answer to your question, each installer has their own preference, so ask the installer you will use for his...

Is this work acceptable (pics)? Central heating system.

it is fine having plastic pipes in the screed without joints and without conduit, but as you rightly say UFH is done that way, But UFH pipes have 65 - 70mm of screed on top, I doubt the pipes in the pictures will have that much coverage, so he will risk cracking of the screed, as for joints in...
