UPDATE ON THE INSTALLATION FROM HELL:: :D wired it all up, called for hot water- few seconds for zone valve to open water starts to flow, im thinking yes nearly there. boiler powers up. Fan starts , no ignition. Tried the same with -CH zone valve opens, water begins to flow boiler kicks in fan...

at 6 o'clock tonight i had looked at it 4 and half million times, ok then just 3 million. all i could see was a blur . going back tomorro with a fresh head . should hopefully spot it then, if i dont im sure me sparkie mate will.

thanks for your replies chaps he phoned this morning and either wants a cylinder and room stat fitting or maybe a combi he will now let me know shortly!!

i have left him overnight with this issue of needing boiler stats etc, hopefully tomorro he will be more accomadating before i have to state it is needed to complete the job.

booked me sen on a worcester bosch oil boiler course oilman, i know i might be wanting to much getting everything from one place but u can only ask :D i did a search and got a few names but just asked in case anyone had a inside tip mate :)

there is a hi limit stat chrisr, it sits right next to the boiler stat. it called in the manufacturers instructions overheat cut switch/stat

Would anyone happen to know of any mail order companies who supply misc spares for oil boilers/burners eg nozzles, photocells ignition coils etc etc. I have managed to find a couple locally but they do one thing or the other and not evrything. Would be a bit easier if could get them all at once...

I've put it down as AR, left him a warning notice and put a warning notice on the appliance as well. As it is 20 years old i asked him to think about a new boiler if i couldnt get the part. Im phoning TRIANCO direct tomorro anyway to see if they even still do the spares.

one question oilman where do you source your oil nozzles and photocells from mate as my old local supplier is closed down,.
