hi thanks for replies, the boiler is potterton conmi condensing , i dont think we can fix it ourselves as we know nothing about boilers :cry: we will have to get corgi man out , will this 3 way valve have to be replaced? and how much will it cost approximatly labor+part? and is it a big long...

can i fix it myself? or should i call engineer? how much will it cost?

i noticed that when i switch on water only boiler heats radiators as well, didn't have this problem before. What has happened ?

the exact name of the make is: Veritas R8 so which battery plz :lol:

it says Veritas in a touch pad unit

and also are the batteries for intruder alarms all one size and will fit any alarm make mains panel?

so is this little noise normal? and also this noise is not always there at the moment its very quiet so its goes on and off, can you tell me why plz? also should battery be changed? will it be quiet then or not and how do i replace battery and where do i get it from :roll:

it was installed in 2004 whenthe house was built , so since then it never had battery changed, how often should it be changed, nobody told us anything about it, alarm is working fine its just that noise like from the fridge not as loud as a fridge though but i think that noise was always there i...

the mains box for the intruder alarm is in the cupboard under the stairs is making some kind of noise same kind as the fridge does for example, does it supposed to be like that or should it be absolutely quiet? can you listen to yours plz to see if they make any noise :?:

:roll: the lighting upstairs is protected by 6a type b mcb , one of the bulbs has just blown in a lamp upstairs but it didn't trip mcb , is it fine or does it suppose to trip mcb ans smth is wrong with mcb?? thanks
