I have an update: lots of banging in pipes,trapped air? cant get radiators to fill with water upstairs just air no water coming out of bleads,downstairs are always full when i check,water tank in loft is full and ,pump is new and pumping strong,3 possition valve is new and working...

Hi just recently I replaced the 3 port valve and pump for my central heating system,Rightly or wrongly I drained the emersion heater tank. I now have alot of air that I contsatnly have to bleed from the radiators upstairs for about 30 secs each rad each time I run the system,All get hot after...

Can anything be done with this or should i give up and buy a 5 wire?

Hi its definatly got 6 including the earth,the valve wont actuate so presumably this needs to be switched live????

Hi guys ive taken the number off the box,the instructions state its a 5 wire but its a 6? i got it from an ebayer. Getting worried now,anything i can do?

Hi Paul yes it has 6 wires,IvE connected the white,the grey,the orange the blue and the earth just as the other valve was but it leaves me with a light brown with no place to go,it heads into the actuator on the 3 port valve? sadly cant post photo tonight can you help?

Hi Ive just fitted a honeywell 3 port valve but it has 6 wires? can anyone tell me where the light brown goes? it goes into the 3 port valve and ends up as a blue that conects to the actuator head? My old landis valve had 5 wires....scratches head

Hi guys thanks for the replys that gives me a few things to check with my meter! its a landis 3 port valve,i do have a new honeywell 3 port valve,can I swap the heads over? Thanks for your replys

Hi to all I have a problem with my parents central heating,When the hot water is turned on at the timer clock the 3 port valve operates,pump runs and boiler fires up and the water gets hot. If I press for central heating i hear the pump run for a nano second,the 3 port valve moves and sadly...
