Hi All, just checked my small downstairs rad is not working. I've no idea when this started as it's in the small toilet room so I don't check. The pipes coming into the rad are also cold so it appears there's no water flowing to it. I've checked the boiler pressure and it's just over 2 bars...

I'd like to add another rad to the system. I've just changed 2 and moved them. Can I simply put a splitter on the pipes of another rad and feed of that or is it more complicated than that? Can't remember what boiler it is, but it's new and currently has 7 rads off it.

It's possible that my boiler problem (HW not working) is because of a blocked h/e plate. I want to try cleaning this out and would like to know what recomended cleaning/descaling agent I should use for this?
