    I ditched AVG for Avast when it let me down badly. I'm happy with Avast but if I could (ie if I had legit windows) I would go for Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). You must have legit windows that will pass WGA to get MSE though.

    seriously your friend needs to ditch that piece of junk. I had one and replaced it with an ADSL modem/wireless router and my download speeds have doubled! Hook the router up to your ethernet port, no USB driver crap required.

    After researching I'm looking at either MS Polymer sealant eg Evostick Nail and Seal something called Sikaflex 291 or a Polysulphide sealant, like Siroflex any experience with any of these?

    lol, believe it or not, I'm putting down more vinyl tiles. The old ones have lost their 'glaze' are and now porus and have soaked up lots of dirt and stains that won't come out. It's a shame because they are sound otherwise. what sort of machine would I be looking at hiring?

    I've had a go with a scraper and an old chisel and it's bl**dy hard work! I'm not sure whether it's the tile bottom or the latex adhesive thats left behind when the rest of the tile comes up. It's black, slightly foamy/rubbery and grips like hell. Someone said use hot water to soften it...
