Just carried out that check and there is no evidence of water in the oil Took the cover off the fan and started the boiler, gave the fan a helping hand to rotate and away it went. I wonder is the motor not producing sufficient power?

Hi Terry Yes fitted a new dog. The shaft of the old pump was stiff and there was a coarse feeling when rotating it. Pump was the original on the burner, 20 years old Old pump is in the bin which was emptied this morning!

Thanks Oilhead. I actually have a spare IMIT thermostat however the probes on it wont fit into the boiler housing. Can I remove the probes on the IMIT thermostat and replace them with the existing probes on the Gerkfros thermostat?

Gerkros thermostat not operating on domestic boiler. Boiler working ok but not cutting out at set temperature. Can a like for like replacement be purchased or can the thermostat be repaired? I have done a quick search online but can't see a similar thermostat

My Indesit dishwasher has recently developed a fault......on cycle 3 the dishwasher fills and begins to wash, after about 20 minutes 2 green lights begin to flash and the cycle stops. Can anyone suggest what is causing the fault? Thanks
