Riello 40 burner - 10 years old
My burner has been making a noise for a few months now and has cut out sporadically in recent times. I have checked all the normal items when servicing and everything seems to be in order. The noise is like low level grinding, starts slow when the boiler starts and then speeds up when the burner fires. Is it likely to be the pump or the motor needing replacement?
The boiler is working perfectly apart from this. Thanks
Unfortunately I cant upload a video here to hear the sound

The noise could easily be the burner motor bearings on the way out.....they run very hot and don’t last for ever.
Happily they are easily replaced once the burner is dismantled and the motor is on the bench.
John :)

Thanks John
Can you advise where I can purchase bearings for the motor?
Thanks
