How effective are advertised lawnseed cures?

I don't think i would waste money on seeding and feeding stuff. Because it's such a small area i would returf it. But don't buy turf from a diy store cause it's rubbish, you can get good turf for £3 per meter so it won't cost you much if you pick it up in the car and will look nice for longer...

    new gravel drive

My drive is 55m2 and has been dug out ready for sub base. I have a very limited budget so gravel is my choice. My question is i can't decide wether it's worth spending an extra £700 on the plastic rienforcement that holds the gravel together and stops it moving this is layed on 30mm sand and...

Ourdoor Bar ! Slab top counter

i would drill a hole maybe 8mm all the way through the slab and use those big screws with a bolt head you can get them in different lengths. I used them to make a raised bed with sleepers they work very well and are much stronger than sealant, you don't want the slab falling off. good luck

    broken gully or gullies

Yes i got the gully out and it's only joined with a bit of sand and cement. It's a bit strange though cause it just sits on top of the pipe instead of inside it. Surely it would be better if it sat inside the drain to prevent it leaking. Anyway got it off and got a secondhand one but fitting it...

    Howdens kitchens

I think Howdens have brochures for the public to look at there range of kitchens, but they should also have showrooms for people to look at. If they had showrooms i bet they would sell a hell of a lot more kitchens

    water pipes very noisey

My problem is the banging noise when something switches the water off immediately such as the washing machine. i know a pressure reducer might work but will then effect the lovely shower we have. Its hard to explain but someone told me that you can get like an inline rubber boot / spring valve...
