Just checked the HRM 12/15 manual and there is a switched live and perm live. Does this mean the Room stat (CMT927) Live should be wired to switched L?

Does anybody know what impact turning on and off the boiler numerous times each day will have on a boiler's life-span? Assume it must be minimal as that is what the room stat is supposed to do?
