Ballcock is not dripping nor the tank overflow as I literally sat in the loft staring at the tank for 30 mins whilst CH was on. Its definately not coming from that white pipe (loft height), The only white PVC pipe I can see from the tank is from the cold water feed and that pipe disappears...

I've noticed I have 2 white pvc pipes sticking out of the exterior wall. Both defo has something to do with CH. The highest one is Loft level and its the overflow for the F+E tank. The second pipe is ceiling height on the ground floor and it sorts of points into the gutter work in the porch...

Hi guys I have a hole in the ceiling about 1 x 1ft (fixed burst pipe) and the rest of the ceiling is like a stripey (looks like brush dabbing) artex. I am going to attempt to patch up the ceiling, but what is the best way to match the artex? Cheers all

Hi Matt The 'warm' rad is sorted.. Roasting this morning.. So I think the X400 is doing its job.. Its the sloshing in the Boiler pipes that bug me.. I normally work from home and it feels like Brighton beach and I cant concentrate!

Pump is quiet, When its off, it'll pi$$ out a stream of water, when its running, its dribbling out is this correct? Theres plenty of water in the tank, so its normal for it to spurt when the CH turns off? I havent much paid attention to my CH system since I fitted the rads etc...

Hiya John Well, I've undone the screw and it reminds me of the 'pi$$ing' boy from belgium statue lol. Its just a stream/jet of water. Before it got messier I have only screwed it back in. i.e. didnt wait for any longer. Pump should be 'off' right?
