    Thanks for your reply. Its capped inside, under kitchen units but uncapped in the box. I'm waiting for a meter to get installed too .

    Its not connected to the meter yet, but there is a supply available. SGN came and tested it. It runs under a concrete floor so you can't see down the pipe. Sucked it again today, twice and nothing coming through.

    I'm just getting new heating installed and was told there was no supply. I found a supy but it was uncapped and there was a wee bit water and grit in it. I sucked it out with a wet dry hoover till it dry. My installer has said he's not happy to fit to it as it will come up eventually breaking...

    I'm not entirely thick and do understand the concept of most things but I feel like didn't try as tried to fob me off. He did say the water would work on its own but said That's the way these systems were wired up by Richard Irvine? Surely you can alter the wiring to make both work...

    I've recently got HIVE installed and I have a tank in a cupboard and the boiler in the garage. When I try to get only hot water, the heating comes on too. Not the best scenario as I won't be able to get hot water without heating. Can anyone advise. BG coming back out but I want a valid argument...

    He said to buy that stuff and add the rccb to the mains box but to have a 13a fused spur on the wall outside the toilet. He didn't say what direction the wires go. spur>rccb>bath or bath>spur>rccb. Only advised, not doing the work, too busy!

    My electrician told me to wire up my whirlpool bath via a 13a spur and get an rccb. Got all this and run the relevant wires but don't know what goes to where. Can you advise please :?
