Thanks Guys, Replaced the sensor - the new one has connectors which are easier. I have screwed it on and it sits on 1000 ohm resistance but occasionally pops up to 1005. (1994 when open), but I did notice just once it go to 994 and then back up again. It has not seemed to do that again...

Thanks, I opened the sensor and it's basically taped to resistors and the connector. I rewired it properly rather than linking to the old cable. It seemed ok on a quick test and tamper checked fine. I will try the resistance check from the panel tonight (did not know you could do that)...

Hi, Rewired some bits on my Galaxy alarm and it all seemed okay, but now, we occasionally get an event when armed. The log says "High Res" on a door contact, but no other information. What does this mean and is there an easy was to solve it? Tony

Thanks Europlex, the loss of memory was possibly due to the time the power was disconnected during some building work. I will source a new battery. Do you have any idea why the bell rings when the system is set. This is my only real problem now. Thanks Tony
