has your engineer tested the gas valve? fixed a very similar problem last week. weak solenoid.

good evening gents, anyone come across a c&m moduflame 450 modular boiler? are they any good ? obviously a serious bit of kit for the larger heating requirements. i`m not working on one, got one brand new in a crate and wondering what the hell to do with it.

cheers for that, but it doesn`t stay on long enough to overheat. the burner lights for 1 second then extinguishes and attempts to fire again, does this 3 or four times then goes to lockout.

could anyone have a clue as to why it only ignites fully on hot water demand. heating side goes through a continuous cycle of lighting then going out. it`s a mate of mine who owns the boiler, so no pressure or anything. plus his mrs scares the hell out of me and she`s cold. bad times! any help...

cheers for the advice gents. no sign of dry joints on the board so i replaced it. all is well with the boiler now.

failure to light. first on the left, flame with a line through it.

good evening gents. got a baxi 105e that works fine on heating, when hot water demand is on the burner goes out as soon as the hot water microswitchengages and shows the failure to light on the front. any help would be appreciated.
