    So yesterday i put lockshield in off position on one of the rad upstairs. This morning turned heating on and opened that lockshield just a little bit and extension rad is fully hot ! Hopefully not some kind of weird one-off coincidence and it will stay that way !

    Boiler installed new in 2021. So what result are we looking for ? If heating is ON, all rads (except column) fully hot and i start turning TRVs off one by one every 15mins. Lets say after 2 rads column heats up fully, what will that tell us ?

    The builders who built extension and done the rest not coming back until 2nd of jan. So trying to figure out meanwhile whats going on. So if i shut all TRV's on other rads and it still doesnt heat up whole, whats next ?

    After 3 rads off, bottom left was still luke warm although the area was smaller. Will switch off all rads and turn the heating on today. Will see what happens ..

    I doubt i have instructions left, but when i contacted the seller, they contacted the manufacturer, they didnt mention/ask which way it was installed, plus the pics of the product showed valves at the bottom. Seller offered to replace or to refund. Shall i get another makeor is this CH problem ?

    3rd rad off, after some time, the column rad: out 10 columns, 8 fully hot, 2 has 25% still warm. Dunno if switching off helped or the lenght of heating on, but defo feels like it is getting there slooooowly. Switched heating off now, way too hot in the house. Will try switching all rads off and...

    On it ! ;) Second rad off. Yes it is the actual lockshield on the column rad.

    First statement is correct. All rads everywhere where hot. All valves are open everywhere, but not sure about the column one as its lockshield looks like one in the pic and dont know how to turn it ;) The guy who installed it says it is ON, although id like to see it myself ;)
