Exposed Shower Valve - 130mm between inlets, and 22mm inlets. Where can I get a replacement?

Not completely, but found a thermostatic shower valve manufactured by ultra finishing on eBay with 130 - 150 centres, but there could not find anything with 22mm inlets. I had access the pipes from behind the shower via a stud wall to reduce the pipes to 15mm...a pain but all works fine now...

Exposed Shower Valve - 130mm between inlets, and 22mm inlets. Where can I get a replacement?

Hello, I need to replace my traditional style exposed shower valve, as it's dripping and not fixed to the wall properly (all grub screws are corroded, and it wont come apart to access the mounting) It has a distance of 130mm between the inlets, and 22m inlets. Most of what I have seen...

Boulter Camray 5 - cutting out after 10 mins

Traced it back and it's wired to the circuit boardLooking at the diagram it's wired to the micro switch in the 3 port valve. I assumed that the 3 port valve switched between heating and hot water - not sure how this could cause my issue. Andy further advice appreciated....it's getting...

Boulter Camray 5 - cutting out after 10 mins

That is a very good point jackthom. The pump does not run during the cooldown phase. So the pattern of failure is as follows. -Burner and pump runs, radiators get hot and everything stops (there are no red lights etc). -Radiators cool down, and boiler remains hot. -I remove the...

Boulter Camray 5 - cutting out after 10 mins

Thanks for the reply dcawkwell. I replaced the thermostat today but still have the same problem. It appears that the phial pockets are getting so hot, the thermostat thinks the heating system is hotter than its maximum range...in reality, i think the heat exchanger remains really hot...

Boulter Camray 5 - cutting out after 10 mins

Hi All, I have a Boulter Camray 5 oil burning boiler, and the central heating is cutting out after 10 mins. The radiators initially get red hot, and after it cuts out, they cool down and it does not restart. If I remove the two phials from their sleeves (on LHS of boiler for those...

Boulter Camray 5 combi – pressure rises to 2 bar, cuts out

All sorted - thankyou all so much for your help. Originally it was tripping out at 3 bar, after I re-charged the expansion vessel, it reduced to tripping out at 2 bar, which as you all quite rightly suggested was caused by the control stat. The thermostat phial was not in its pocket, and...

Boulter Camray 5 combi – pressure rises to 2 bar, cuts out

John506 - Not sure on the history of the system, as only lived in the house for a year. Will flush the system and add necisary inhibitors asap though. Tibbot - The problem being related to heat and not pressure makes complete sense. Come to think of it, whan I moved in, I was pretty sure...

Boulter Camray 5 combi – pressure rises to 2 bar, cuts out

Hi All, I have a Boulter Camray 5 oil fired combi boiler, and it is causing me real issues. After about 40 minutes of running the central heating it trips out. This happens when the pressure gauge reaches 2 bar (even though though the pressure gauge states a maximum running pressure of 3...
