Dishwasher leaking - any idea why?

thank you. I have just taken thespray arm out; could see hairline cracks either side but no actual holes that water could escape from (other than the holes that were meant to be there). However I then attached a shower hose to it and water is coming out sideways as you described.

Dishwasher leaking - any idea why?

Dishwasher is leaking, a LOT. I'm hoping I might be able to find out why, in the hope that I can fix/replace whatever it is myself. It's a diplomat ADP8102. NO idea how old, it was there when we moved in 6 years ago. It's leaking from both corners at the front (half a litre from the left and...

    painting satinwood over emulsion

thanks - neither of us are particularly thrilled with the cladding, but removing it would involve refitting the whole kitchen, which is less than 3 years old and we like alot (other than the pine!) So maybe in 10 years we get rid of the pine, but not for now. So ideally no satinwood over...

    washing machine plumbing

(Not sure if this should be in the "Appliances" forum) Just moved house, washing machine now sits in the garage. I never saw how the previous owners had theirs plumbed in (should have thought about that really). Anyway I've identified hot and cold inlet valves on the wall (though there's...

Building Survey - comments on roof?

afternoon, (I think I read somewhere on this forum not to ask for quotes on this forum, so I'll try not to) I've just bought a 1931 three bedroom end terrace (technically...it was actually built as a semi detached) house, and got the results of the Building Survey back yesterday...

How to fix/fill broken screw hole - wardrobe door

Hello, Without boring you with the details, the wardrobe door got wrenched off its hinges, and a couple of the holes that the fitting screws into (on the wardrobe itself) are a bit broken. I can't just use a thicker screw, because the screws are pretty thick diameter already (5 or 6mm)...
