    Removing a wall switch

    Was this an old cooker connection unit? if so can you not find where the switch behind your floor cabinet gets power from and disconect the cable from here, thus rendring the cable inbeteen with no power? :?

    It is against regulations to bond your earth to underground water/gas pipes(incase they are poly) you should aquire a earth spike and locate it in a suitable position outside, connect your earth here. :lol:

    This may sound a bit stupid but have you checked the ball valve on your cold water storage tank? is it shutting the water off when at full capacity?
