    that piece of timber on the wall is used as a starter for the rendering I do not think its going to take long to take up the concrete, its in a really bad state, get a good breaker and should not be longer than a few hours work

    Thanks for the photo's, Having looked at them, i doubt you can go over the concrete with slabs. You concrete already looks to high as it is. but you had already figured that one out.

    Use the labgear HDU618S its a 8 way distribution, with sky-uplink and eye pass through, so you need one cable from the skybox up to this distribution panel. and of course one cable down for tv signal

    show is a picture of the concrete in relation to you patio door, with a bit of luck you can leave the concrete, you need about 40 to 50mm of wet cement under the new slabs

    The joists are adequate, no need to reinforce them, a single header and footer will be fine. actually by putting in the footer you are already reinforcing the floor, as you will cross link them all

    Well, that is a proper party wall. I would speak to the neighbour how he feels about it you can have a fence of 2m between neighbours without planning consent, so go for it (after speaking to you'r neighbour, and getting his consent)
