Hi just 2 weeks ago I had my roof done on end terraced house. Stripped back to the sarking boards refelt with light membrane counter batten and tiled with Marley Eternit concrete tiles. Anyway now I seem to be noticing bad bits on the roof some tiles are not level at the edges the dry verge...

i ended up welding a small bracket up to go around the bottom bit cast bent the cast pipe straight and bolted the bracket to the wall to hold in place . still holding a year later lol:)

a year later sorry i got it out anyway took me about 2 hours that day and a few drill bits got it out :)

ok yeah what i used on the rest need to buy another one :) thanks for your help mate :D

yeah i did think of that so would it be ok to maybe use a bit rubber tubing 68mm and secure it with jubilee clips ?

here is a few more picture from further back so you can see its not straight at the bottom not very much i know lol i can pull the pipe over so its straight but am not sure if my plastic union bracket will hold it eh cause i have to put alot of force to make it straight you know ...

Hi mate here is a few pictures to look at :) link below what it is really the bottom section is not vertical while the rest above is .and it looks weird having the bit at the bottom squint i cant get it straight cause there is no or very much movement cause of the concrete at the bottom ...

mate so do i take all the concrete out or just enough around the bit cast to free it ? then slide my new bit plastic pipe down in the concrete . i can take a wee pic if you would like to have a look first ?

Hi can anyone give me some advice i have fitted new guttering to my house and new downpipe. one problem ive got is the down pipe out the front of the house ive got one section at the bottom still castiron goes straight into the soil / earth . ive dug down about a foot and the downpipe...

a dont want to damage the rest of the pipe lol if a carry on doing what am doing drilling out the lead will it come out do you think ? can post a pic up if you like

Hi can anyone give me some advice for removing the swan neck right at the top of cast iron soil pipe . it goes in to a union its filled with lead am sure and ive been drilling it around the bit pipe to try and get it loose got quite alot of the lead out but pipe is still not moving ...
