    Underfloor heating

Hello. Thank you for reply. Afraid the guy has retired and his business is gone. The heating system in the house is oil and I’d like to replace the radiator that was removed. The marks on the floor look much worse in the photograph. Can you tell me if they are scorch marks from an overheating...

    Underfloor heating

Hello. My dad had Parkinson’s and we managed to care for him at home. The bathroom was tiny and bath was removed to allow for an easy access wet room. The radiator was removed as occupational health felt that if he fell he would possibly burn himself on the pipe work plus it gave us more room to...

Hi all. It's been a while but the outcome is it's going to be electric panel heaters. After 2 plumbers refused the job because of the complications I think the light dawned.

    oil central heating

No mains gas so it would have to be a calor tank. There is a stream at the bottom of the gardens and he has no access from that direction and I don't think he is allowed to site a tank in his front garden which is beside the side road. He is in his eighties and he is struggling to deal with...

    oil central heating

Thank you. He has his own patch of garden but he thinks it can go where his coal bunker was situated but this is against a neighbours fence. The vent is going to be above mums back door so she will have that to contend with too. I'm hoping he gets a shock at what it will cost and changes his mind.

He intends the combi boiler to be installed in his kitchen against the outside wall. First question I need to...

Ha ha, don't think I''ll be allowed anywhere near when it comes to the DIY part. My contribution is to choose the tiles and pay the bills and keep the coffee going.Know where to come though if hubby and son-in-law are stuck.

    online tile ordering

I would but they don't have the floor tile I like. Just wanted to get everything from the one place. And the price promise says they would beat it by 5%. Trying to keep a lid on the cost in case it gets too scary. Think I'm gonna go for BCT Dartmoor Quartz for the wall. 14 sq m for £161. Thanks...

    online tile ordering

Hi all, after finally narrowing down my choice of tiles I ordered samples from wallsandfloors. It took 9 days for them to arrive and only the mosaic ones weren't broken. The travertine one was like a jigsaw. Now I have managed to find the exact same tile from another online supplier for £60...
