Received the hose attachment yesterday and fitted it so that the hose is about 2 inches inside the top of the waste pipe. Have now done 3 washes and no problems at all. :) Cheers guys :)

I did take the waste pipe apart and clean it out. That was 3 weeks ago, surely it hasn't got blocked again in that time?

I will check the filter. Its just odd that sticking the hose in the sink works.

Blow it up :shock: I did get advice from a builder friend and he said if I got the wiring wrong I wouldn't break anything. Think I may call the guy who fitted it back in.

Thanks for the reply sir. I turn off the mains when messing with the wiring - not the most efficient way of working but safe. :) There was a loose orange wire which I wired into the only spare terminal block connection. That didn't make it work - should I make sure that wire is wired...
