I am unable to turn of one of the isolator valves as plastic screw head has broken...I have tried gluing plastic to it with no success any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hello I recently painted the front door and today I removed the old sealant with the intention of replacing, but the gap seems quite large about 1cm in parts. I tried using sealant but it just turned out rubbish. Any ideas what to do with such a large gap? thanks in advance
