Just to get back on this post - the hot water problems haven’t occurred again until last night and today . When i went in the airing cupboard and removed the junk in there i did find another valve - see picture . Didn’t see it last time as i didn’t remove all the junk in the cupboard.

Its also happened on the bath . Sink in the bathroom, kitchen. Ensuite shower and ensuite sink hot tap

Hiya - he didn’t show his ticket but i have his gas safe number. I have checked and cannot find anything similar to the black valve on the existing pipiework. I have attached pics of what i can see.

No - so it went when the shower was running the other day( it’s a mixer shower , not electric) and my partner said the hot water has gone.. i turned on the tap in the main bathroom and it was fine

When you say inlet group do you mean the pressure reducing valve black one in the attachment earlier? . I actually cannot locate where the existing pressure reducing valve is .. where should it be? . I google the pressure reducing valve for the heatrae megaflows andit comes up with the black one...

Hi Added a picture of what my engineer put in in August ( i think its a pressure relief valve?) 8 bar blue thing. He also left a black 3 bar valve .. not sure what it is . He said it came in the pack and to keep it ..

I was thinking to offset the smaller reduction in length with a bigger height. Rad is 438x770 so was thinking either double panelled or taller - say 900

Thanks for the reply .. I would do that but i’m a little nervous at destroying the old fan in case i make a huge mistake with the install( not that much can go wrong i think). - just confidence but i am always like this and end up doing a good job . So to avoid this i need a short length of 3...
