DIY Shed - things to consider...

I 'think' if its within so many meters of a neighbours fence or boundary it can only be around 2.5m high. Maybe 2.4m as you say

DIY Shed - things to consider...

Well a shop bought one is coming out at £2,500, so anything under that would be good, and 10 times the quality, however I've heard some think itll cost more building it yourself, I'm not sure, currently getting a list together of what wood I need and will cost it up.

DIY Shed - things to consider...

Interesting, always seen people use the solid white sheet style foam insulation for sheds.

DIY Shed - things to consider...

Thanks, you actually answered a question I did have about the outside wood sheeting, will foam board insulation be okay between the framing and touching the membrane on the outside and then the cladding?

DIY Shed - things to consider...

Hi all, so I'm going to be building myself a shed, 24x9ft. Framed floor & roof, framed walls, plywood or OSB sheets on outside and in, some kind of membrane on outside and then maybe feather board clubbing, pent roof. I'm trying to get an idea of tools I would need to make it easier for me. I...

Texecom micro contact-W flashing, it didn't before

Hello, I've just replaced the coin battery in my Micro contact-W as the keypad told me to. Now the square button on the contact is slowing flashing green when secure, red when open, as it should so I read. However this never did it before, surely it'll eat up the battery? Can this be turned...

Decking on sloping concrete with shallow end...

Decking help, I want to deck this area, the red line shows the level I want, the concrete is on a slope, the bit I'm struggling to work out is that on the left the height will only be the height of a brick, about 4", allowing for the decking board width, that doesn't leave much space underneath...

Texecom Part set but allowing entry exit

Ah, going back to your Guard thing, I removed the Guard attribute and the entry exit works as it should. Great! But will it effect any other arming modes? Or does the alarm choose it as Guard attribute as standard when any entry/exit type is chosen for that zone?

Texecom Part set but allowing entry exit

In area options I changed the part arm instant from A*** to ****, I was able to leave the front door and shut it, it set the alarm fine, however when coming back in the door the alarm set off, I'd like the front door to still be alarmed when only omitting the PIR I want but still allow me to...

Texecom Part set but allowing entry exit

Figured out the problem, the timer to get out of the entry exit door is too short by the time the part 2 arms, so how do I lengthen the exit time for part 2 ( and turn exit tone ON) but keep it instant for part 1?

Texecom Part set but allowing entry exit

Perfect, thank you for helping, I didn't realise it could be done in user too. I've done exactly as you say but the entry exit on the door doesn't work, it's like the door is set to go off when triggered.

Texecom Part set but allowing entry exit

Texecom Part set but allowing entry exit

I couldn't follow your instructions sorry. I chose which area I want off. But there were no other settings I saw about allowing entry exits to be used. When I set the alarm by pressing part, 2, tick, I then opened the front door and alarm when off and displayed the alarm fail Info? Thanks, neil
