Valliant Combi Boiler - error code F24 (plus other probs!)

No? Well, I wonder, can you be sure? From Vaillant: F.24 Dry fire protection (temperature gradient of flow NTC too steep). Air in boiler/system, pump blocked or defective, pump output too low. I seemed to have S.53 Delay mode due to lack of water in system (~20 mins.) kick in with the fault...

F.24 Fault also occurs when automatic air vent malfunctions, for example if float lever is detached from valve inside cap.

How to fit Vaillant Pitched Adjustable Roof Tile?

Maybe you've had a bad day; listen I can figure out how to build entire roofs, cutting the tiles as shingles, from standing douglas fir, and have done so. IN fact, I'm pretty damn sure I know how it's supposed to be fitted by looking at it, but it's a novel design for me , not the usual lead...

How to fit Vaillant Pitched Adjustable Roof Tile?

Thanks, my spelling is in danger of deteriorating with computer use. I'm not sure what it is in the rules you wish me to note. Nontheless, I still need an answer to my question, not an interrogation or orders. Let me just tell you this, I am more than competent, and my roofer is not gas...

How to fit Vaillant Pitched Adjustable Roof Tile?

Well, actuality he is, because my question has nothing to do with calling an RGI, it's about a roof tile/flashing. He may as well suggest I order suchi. Moreover, he is ordering me to call one if I am not one myself., which is hardly a suggestion; It's as if to say , I should not be asking this...

How to fit Vaillant Pitched Adjustable Roof Tile?

That doesn't answer my question: Thanks anyway. if you're looking for a registered gas installer, post your question somewhere else perhaps, and call him/her yourself if you are able  There's a danger of you hijacking my question, this thread. ANyway, I have heard on these...

How to fit Vaillant Pitched Adjustable Roof Tile?

:?: How is the Vaillant Pitched Adjustable Roof Tile p/n: 9076 laid with the usual original clay 1930's tiles (tile size approximately 6"). I definitely need a few pointers here, rather than experiment while fitting. Here are the sort of questions I have, looking at the thing: - Does the...

Standard height from floor to centre of basin waste

wildly different answers . As a basin is fixed at about 800 - 850 mm, and the sink waste outlet there may be about 180mm below, plus the depth of perhaps 80mm of waste trap coupling……...guess which is the right answer.

Boiler kaput-how to clean system before replacement?

...neat yes Dcalkwell. So, it seems you don't see point for chemical to scour the pipes so they shine? Yes that's good; my back complained, it wasn't the lifting so much as the sustained stooping, I think.... True, and he will, and (he will be a he, I reckon). I might just do that, I...

Boiler kaput-how to clean system before replacement?

Excellent, just as I hoped :!: thanks. I feel kind of clean, but you wouldn't think so to see my dusty cap. If I felt like it, how could I best fill with some nasty chemical, and flush, without the boiler in place. I have the old pump I could rig up... the feed and return to boiler goes to...

Boiler kaput-how to clean system before replacement?

Hello , how can pipework be best cleaned without a boiler in place? The old cast iron Potterton, out of commission, has been taken down. naturally I'd like to clean the old system before fitting a quality new combi boiler. I've had radiators removed and well-flushed upside down...

washing machine own waste into soil trap

Thanks for your reply TickyT. That's the alternative I shall do, and T in the sink trap OR; if not, a 2.8 meter length to extend the 22mm pump outlet, going into the sink waste above it's trap.

washing machine own waste into soil trap

:?: What do you think, Regarding the preferred location of the washing machine, 3m away from outside all and the waste pipe: The scheme is to clip machine hose to 22mm rigid overflow pipe for upstand, which passes down and along with its gentle slope to, and through the outside wall and...
