I installed a Panasonic ashp with supplied diverter valve .Honeywell 2 port supplied with cylinder was repurposed for one of the heating circuits.As long as dhw fails closed on 3 port its cosher. Heatgeek & Urban plumber on yt explains indepth. I also queried this with the Panasonic rep.

Educated guess.In my area ill replace 20 oil pumps for every capacitor.Unfortunately service guys rarely clean oil filters in this neck of the woods which doesnt help.

oil pump about 80 quid with new drive.Best getting a boiler man to set it up and clean the oil filters including dipping for water content. £150 - £200 approximately.

If you dont fancy a goo ay sticky repair its possible to solder the back nut to the cylinder with traditional flux and flex and paste on thd threads that wont burn off. Fast and effective with all wters drained.

take a sample of oil from the oil pump flexi into a clear container so that you can inspect it.if you can not isolate the oil use vice grips to squeeze the flexi shut.extreme method but if you have no other choice etc.i would say the filter could be your problem.with a dodgy gatevalve it...
