    4 way extension in trunking

I think my interpritation of fixed is only limited to the fact it is screwed to the wall. It can be unplugged and removed with no tools at any time. Think I'm just getting confused now!!

    4 way extension in trunking

Thanks all for your replies. It's interesting to get the different points of view. I take on board the advice that it is a fixed install with the same devices plugged in all day every day. i'm happy that I do not appear to be breaking any regs, but also will bear in mind that it is...

    4 way extension in trunking

I understand where you are coming from, however, my initial question was is this against any regulations, as stated by the electrician. He then immediately wanted to quote for two new double sockets. My initial thoughts were that he is just trying to pull a fast one and earn a quick buck...

    4 way extension in trunking

Its not the same. He is not employed by the school or th LA. An independant chap that is sometimes used when needed. All I have done is make the classroom safer. which will always be my priority. I dont think I need any qualifications to stick a bit of trunking to the wall and put a cable in...

    4 way extension in trunking

Some advice please. I work in a school where every classroom has a 4 way extension running from a socket. These were just running on the floor and were a health and safety hazard to all the little kiddies and staff. So being helpful, I bought some self adhesive surface trunking and mounted...

I know someone who gers a badge and a fully subsidised car because she has one leg shorter than the other. it causes lots of pain except when she travels 250 miles to liverpool and gets pi55ed watching the footie.

Tesco Parking - What do you think?

your post insinuated if you are disabled and fit to work you do not get a badge. Wrong. Disabled people who work get a badge and mostly park for free. Of course some people dont get one who apply.

Tesco Parking - What do you think?

Of course u get a blue badge if you are registered disabled. thats my point, the disability discrimination act tells us they should be equally treated, yet in most places they park for free when they could be working full time. You are right about family members using the badges though.

Tesco Parking - What do you think?

Some interesting replies. The problem we have is it is impossible to know the degree of the persons issues using the blue badge. So while some are fully deserving of the space, others could easily use the normal spaces. The part I find hard to get my head around is why in most paying car parks...

Tesco Parking - What do you think?

Do you have a few issues Whitspirit66? No 4x4, No obese children and I think you will find the spaces are for both parents. Maybe the other spaces were taken up by miserable middle aged men who make assumptions about others? For the record, I would never have a go at an old dear, I also...

Tesco Parking - What do you think?

The Mrs came home with a story today, she was with her sister in Tesco’s parking in the car when they saw an old lady with a blue badge park in the parent and child spots (with no child) leaving no parent and child spots for them (they had two toddlers with them). The sister-in-law got out...
