The Mrs came home with a story today, she was with her sister in Tesco’s parking in the car when they saw an old lady with a blue badge park in the parent and child spots (with no child) leaving no parent and child spots for them (they had two toddlers with them).

The sister-in-law got out and had a go at the old lady saying that she would be the first to moan if we had parked in a disabled spot and she could not park.
The Mrs was horrified that she spoke to an old lady with a blue badge like that, but that she did have a point.
What do you guys think?

So just to get this straight, your sister-in-law blasted a disabled old lady for parking in a space reserved for hard-done-by mummies who need to park their 4X4s, so that their obese, spoilt brats don't lose any weight on the way to the pizza counter?

Maybe the mummies and their 4X4s had taken all the disabled spaces?

Maybe your sister-in-law should hang her head in shame?

And when you are caught you'll get the **** beat out of you. ;)

Parent and child bays are stupid. I always park in them.
Same with Blue Badge spots. If they are fit enough to walk around a shopping centre they are fit enough to park with everyone else.

Are you being serious or just trying to evoke a reaction?

Do you have a few issues Whitspirit66? No 4x4, No obese children and I think you will find the spaces are for both parents.

Maybe the other spaces were taken up by miserable middle aged men who make assumptions about others?

For the record, I would never have a go at an old dear, I also wouldn’t park in a disabled spot, but I always park in the parent spots when I can with my kids. I see it as a benefit and I don’t get to many of them in life!

Read my post again. Where did I say that YOU had a 4X4 or obese children?

I think you are unable to understand or comprehend plain English.

I do park in parent and child spaces, because they take a disproporionate amount of available parking space in certain car parks. The car park in my local Co Op was revamped recently. It's a small car park, that used to have 3 disabled spaces, and 3 parent and child spaces.
Following the work, the disabled spaces stayed the same, but the p and c spaces more than doubled, by converting spaces that used to be available to anyone . Sometimes they are the only spaces vacant, so I have to use one, but never use the disabled.
Why do parents suddenly get lots of extra space? Has there been a doubling in the rate of child birth? It's their choice to have kids, why should I park miles away because of somene else's choice?

i saw katie price at tesco in a disabled bay , harvey can walk so why can she park there?
harvey could lose a few pounds too
