is this too much for 100a single phase!

With regard to the lights, what happened to part L and the use of low energy bulbs ( especially to replace loads of 50W halogens) you can get 2W gu10 replacements and that means that 90 come in at < 200W

I think you will find that the escape velux ( and it has to be one of the ones sold as such) has to have the BOTTOM between 600& 700MM from the edge of the roof ) you will also need an escape route to the ground floor, which is isolatable from the rest of the house ( firedoors) , its no...

would think that two sheets of celotex or similar would do the job better, if required stick a layer of rockwool in between, remember that if they solid substances touch, the vibration ( sound) will transfer from one to the other) the aim is to deaden, and reduce the vibration, so a solution...

    Advice re loft conversion...

if it was sold as 2/3 bedrooms, i think it would have to have a permanent access to the third bedroom, yet it sounds like you have a loft ladder ? it does sound like you need to get it properly checked, I would ring LABC and get their view, remember as you have the indemnity you should be...

    Advice re loft conversion...

But then of course there is the indemnity if its going to be used as habitable, and theres no planning stuff provided, and it was sold as habitable, then its got to be worth 1) getting the LABC involved, if they decree it unsafe/unlawful ( which they might not) , then ask whats wrong ( it...
