Whining noise and loss of pressure from combi boiler - please help

Thank you for the reply. Does 1 bar of loss over approx 10 days seem ok? Also, what would be causing the noise? Is it something to be worried about, or should I just keep topping it up?

Whining noise and loss of pressure from combi boiler - please help

Pressure seems fine when the hot water is on. No water dripping from pressure relief valve either. Could it just be due to the age of the boiler and a bit of pressure loss to be expected?

Whining noise and loss of pressure from combi boiler - please help

UPDATE ON PROBLEM : I have just put more water into the boiler via the filling loop so the pressure is now at 1.5 bar. I have ran a bath with just hot water, and the boiler has not made the whining noise at all. Any more advice would be fantastic.

We have had a new dhw hear exchanger fitted, prv, dhw sensor, and I thought a new diverter valve, but can't...

    Combi boiler pressure too high?

Have now lowered the temperature gauge on boiler, and it doesn't make the whistling sound. It goes up to about 80 degrees, and still no whistle, so I assume that it could be air in system?

Have disconnected filling loop(braided hose) and water is dripping out. I also reduced pressure to 1.5 bar. Thank you for the reply. It is a biasi boiler. Is recharging the vessel something i could do, or is it best left to a gas engineer? If the vessel is broke, is there a rough idea how much they are?

Decking on flat roof - planning needed?

Thanks for that. Does the fact that other houses in the street have the raised decking, make it more likely that it will be ok?

Decking on flat roof - planning needed?

At the back of our house, is our bathroom, which has a flat roof. Between the outside wall, and the back lane wall, we have some decking. Now, we would like to put decking on our flat roof, to use as a sundeck, with of course, handrails etc. We want to put a staircase(only about 3 steps)...
