Hi, I'm retiling a bathroom. We have removed the old tiles and old wall paper. Some patches of the wall paper were very difficult to remove so we have just scored it. Am wondering if there's anything we should do to the walls now before tiling? Sand down bumps, prep walls somehow? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Do you recommend that the tray is recessed? The tray I have has an up-stand, not sure if that can be recessed.

Hi, I'm putting in a new bathroom for the first time and am looking for some advice around putting the shower tray in: Is it best to tile the wall first and then put the shower tray in? Or to put the tray in and tile around it? Have seen conflicting advice so any comments much appreciated!
