    hi, im due to do my knock through, got my steels and bolts. was measuring were the steels are going and noticed the external skin is normal brick and the internal skin is a terracota coloured blocks,the sort the spanish use. my question is. will they complicate the nock through :?:

    the new drain for the toilet is going underneath the slab, going to have a go at laying that,45degree bend at toilet stack run it to the manhole at the right fall,break through the manhole and a 30degree bend taking it in. bit of luck it will satisfy the inspector. :)

    removing varnish from an exterior door

    a good old good rub down will do the trick,try not use to coarse a sandpaper,if you do just use a lght grade one to smooth the surface out,then a good cleaning with a bit of white spirit on a rag before painting. a couple of coats of undercoat will do as a primer and then a top coat of gloss.
