Thanks for your suggestion! I'll see if I can open it up. I do notice the charger heats up, but not the battery. Perhaps it's just the LED indicator light that's gone.

yeah that's what I heard too. I probably could get it repaired locally but it'll come down to whether it makes sense financially. Might be better off just getting another drill. Hate that the charger's the weakest link here. The drill works splendidly!
