Yeah used a oltmeter between Lin and Neutral. Shower is a T80i and think it could be the solenoid£26.80 for spare part but think it is worth replacing now.Going for Triton T70gsi . Cheers for help guys can't wait to postmy next challenge :D

Thanks John with help on wires . In terms of bracket photo not good but it was held tightly against the cooker with piece of thin metal across the centre diameter of the thermostat and screw fixing to the right which went into back of cooker . Without this fixing it will just hang loose and...
