Expansion Vessel - Which way up?

Yes, he installed a separate one with a filling loop in an easy to reach place. It's quite hard to see.

Expansion Vessel - Which way up?

Ok, he installed a valve with a pressure gauge that I have to open to increase the pressure back up. It puts cold water into the system. It's no bother really, just have to do it regularly until he can get out.

Expansion Vessel - Which way up?

I see, thought there was just one for the whole system. My boiler is a Logic+ System 24. My system isn't standard. I have underfloor downstairs and each of the 3 zones is controlled by stats in each room. I then have a separate heating system upstairs for the radiators, which also controls the...

Expansion Vessel - Which way up?

Sorry for the delay, I didn't get any email notifications to say anybody gas responded? I don't have a red vessel, just that white one. I was doing what my plumber instructed. My main concern is it is fitted correctly as all the expansion vessels I've seen the schrader valve is at the top?

Expansion Vessel - Which way up?

Hi all, Festive greetings! I have an unvented system, my plumber told me to keep an eye on the pressure of the system, told me to keep it around 1.5bar. In the last few weeks the system has been losing pressure faster and faster, where I'm now having to top it once or twice a day. I've read...

    Change faulty wireless stat

hi, I have a bit of a strange setup, I think! About 1 year ago we completed our self build, we have undfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. The underfloor is controlled by wired JG Aura controllers and a control centre. Upstairs is controlled by a wired hot water and heating timer...

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

Not sure I'm confident enough to wire to a 240v socket. My PRT does have some Unprogrammed slots, but they show --.--

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

Ok I see, thanks. I think it's either a bug in the controller software or a rather stupid system qwerk!?!?!

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

But would a boiler checking itself out show on the controllers? Also, how would the boiler know that I changed the time back to Saturday and it still kicked in. I know what you mean, but isn't this if the boiler hasn't kicked in for 24 hours it does a check.

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

They are also set up as individual PRTs, there is no communication between them.

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

Not a good company then? I've just reset my controllers in case I had that 5 minute midnight Boxing Day party . Set my time to 23:59 on 26/12 and at midnight the boiler calls for heat, what ever I do it won't stop. Changing the time, putting it into frost setting. Is the same for all 3 of my...

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

Thanks, they aren't wireless. I will go through the setup again. It's a bit strange as they are all setup so they are individual, so for the, all to kick in a midnight is a bit strange. Cheers Neil

JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

Hi all, Hope you've had a good Christmas! Has any one experienced the JG Aura thermostats calling for heat at midnight for 5 minutes, despite the timers? These are installed in new build with underfloor heating. All setup individually. My schedule turns it to the night setting at about 8pm and...

    Texecom PIR led constantly on

Hi, My alarm has been working fine, but today it won't set. One of my zones was active so the alarm did not set. The led light on the offending PIR is constantly on and the alarm will not set. Nothing has changed so am presuming it is the PIR. I am omitting that zone in the mean time, but not...
