New MK Socket Outlet wont fit old back box

On closer inspection the box is so distorted that I have decided to replace it. Not what I want as I've decorated round it but I don't think there's an alternative.

New MK Socket Outlet wont fit old back box

Screwfix and Wickes sell Schneider, the illustrations of which show much less bulk at the rear, could be worth a try if I need to.

New MK Socket Outlet wont fit old back box

My Apologies, just tried the other socket, worked fine. Looked again at first and noticed some distortion in box which caused the problem with the MK Sockets. Sorry to waste your time but if I can't bend it straight, if I want matching units I'll have to find another brand.

    Roller Marks

Thanks Bosswhite and joe-90. I'll try both ideas as I've no time limit. Any recommendations for an emulsion brush and hints on use would be good as I've never used one for large areas.

    Roller Marks

Hope someone can help. I've had my hall stairs and landing skimmed, over Artex and once it dried sealed it with a thinned coat of Dulux Supermatt. Next a coat of Dulux Matt Natural Calico and up to here no problems. Doing a second and final coat of Matt, the finished result looks fine on small...
