    Interior door lock issues.

Hi all, My son recently bought his first flat and we are looking to exchange the handles and hopefully the lock set up. It seems as though the previous tenant had locks on all the doors. Id like to know if it is possible to get a lock case that will fit in this 150 x 25 seating. Basically just...

Best airvents for bedrooms and living area?

I'm going to be fitting some air vents into 3 bedrooms and 1 living area this summer and was looking for the ones i need. I found these passive vents and was just asking if these would be OK? Is it better to fit them high on the wall, or low?? Thanks

    Small circular weep vents

Thanks. Looks like I've got a big problem then. I thought If I installed these or brick vents it would improve. It's only during the winter months when it gets bad aswell. Need to do something pretty soon as I don't have the finances to get a tradesman to come in.

    Small circular weep vents

It's just that I have no weep holes at all and the damp seems to be pretty much worse on these walls. Do I need airbrick type vents?? Not one room in house, 5 in total have any type of ventilation - absolutely nothing, no air bricks, vents at all

    Help with Kitchen spotlights.

Thanks so much bud, going to buy them at the weekend. When you say the grey wires I assume you mean the 2 small blue/brown wires into the light itself. I really appreciate your help, and everyone else who has chimed in.

    Help with Kitchen spotlights.

Thanks to all. So if I buy the ones from the sites you guys have mentioned is it just a case of swapping out the old fitting and transformer and fitting the light to the live and neutral fitted in the ceiling? I.e., I won't need transformers.

    Help with Kitchen spotlights.

Sorry, life got busy and forgot about this. I've attached photos of the existing lamps and the way the wiring is done. I have looked into the below on Ebay which seem to be what o would need as they are double insulated. Would these be ok and just use the current live and neutral wires to...

    Help with Kitchen spotlights.

I've seen these. The only thing i need to ask now is that I only have live and neutral wires going to the current lights- do I just add these to this connector? Assuming the earth wire on the fitting is all that I'd needed and that I don't need to connect an earth wire too which will be a pain...

    Help with Kitchen spotlights.

Could I just swap these out for GU10 fittings which are double insulated and therefore if a lamp goes in future I don't have to remove the fitting but the lamp itself. Or could buy 230v double insulated led fittings without transformers.
