I've just had a quote for a replacement boiler and additional rads within a new extension. Any thoughts on the quote as I haven't a clue?

Installation cost for boiler in the roof space = £650.00
Gas Run on the outside wall = £150.00

I have converted my garage to a room and there is an internal door with a door sensor. Now I want to change that sensor to a motion sensor.
Is it as simple as turning off the supply then refitting a motion sensor in place of the door sensor?
